Customs Policy + USA Tariff Update

🇺🇸 United States Customs & Tariff Update (25 February 2026)

The tariffs are down to just 10%. We are celebrating with a free shipping for U.S. offer between 2-9 March.

(You will still see a small charge at the check out - that is the 10% tariff.)

Over the past year, U.S. import rules changed several times due to emergency trade measures introduced under the IEEPA (International Emergency Economic Powers Act).

It has truly been a rollercoaster! These measures temporarily increased duties on many imported goods, including dreamy creations... Unfortunately, it was beyond our control.

From May 2025 until February 2026, U.S. customer had to pay an additional 30% duty and tax, calculated and charged at check out. However, things are looking up, yay!

According to official guidance from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP): The previous IEEPA-based duties are no longer being collected.
Instead, a 10% Section 122 surcharge now applies.

You can find the latest update on Zonos page, who we are partnered with.

They're the guys that collect all the extra tax and duty (added to your shipping cost) which ensures you don't need to pay any extra hidden fees to retrieve or receive your package once it arrives in the States.

Important Notes

  • A potential increase of the Section 122 surcharge to 15% has been publicly discussed, but it has not yet been formally signed or implemented.

What This Means for DreamyMoons Customers

We continue to:

  • Monitor official CBP guidance daily

  • Update our landed cost calculations in real time

  • Remain transparent about any duty-related changes

There are currently no additional emergency tariffs being applied beyond the new 10% Section 122 surcharge.

We are committed to making your U.S. shopping experience as smooth and predictable as possible!!

Thank you for your patience, support, and encouragement :)
Love,
Annie & the Dreamy Team.

CUSTOMS CHARGES ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

All international orders (excluding US Retail orders) are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) and customs charges may be levied by the destination country.

Customs charges (import duties/taxes/clearance fees) are NOT included in your order and will be payable upon delivery by the recipient.

To re-iterate all customs charges payable are the responsibility of the purchaser, not DreamyMoons.  Refused shipments due to non-payment of customs charges will not be eligible for a refund.
DHL orders can not be returned to sender.

Customs authorities require by law that we state the full dollar value paid for your order and must include an invoice for customs should they require it.
We are unable to alter HS codes, mark orders as gifts or declare a lower order value.

Customs agents have the right to release or deny release of your package and, in rare cases, they may also delay delivery.

Please check with your country’s customs service for further information.
