USA Shipping Update
USA Tariffs 🇺🇸
Update – September 10, 2025
"Australia Post is pleased to update our business customers that we plan to resume postal services to the United States (US) and its overseas territories on or before, Thursday 25 September 2025."
Yay! Not long now until we can ship to the US again. Thank you for your patience.

Update – August 29, 2025
US shipping is still on pause. But we have good news: DHL is still running, and we’re working hard behind the scenes to get US shipping back up and running very soon (fingers crossed for mid-September!).
Our main goal is to make sure you don't receive surprise fees at your doorstep. To make this smooth, we’re setting up a system where you’ll pay your import tax upfront at checkout. That way, you’ll know exactly what you’re paying, and there’ll be nothing extra to pay on delivery.
DHL will simply bill us, and we’ll take care of the rest for you.
Now, the not-so-dreamy part: there will still be an import tax. This fee doesn’t go to DreamyMoons - it’s passed on to DHL, and then to the US government. Stay updated via this page, and please sign up to the emails to be notified when shipping resumes.Â

Update – August 26, 2025
Shipping to the USA is temporarily paused due to the sudden introduction of new tariff regulations. At the moment, there is little clarity on how these rules will be implemented, and the situation remains uncertain. To avoid unexpected fees or complications for our customers, we’ve decided to suspend shipments to the USA for now.
As of today, 26 August, Australia Post also suspended US shipping. We expect this pause to be temporary, and shipping will resume as soon as there is more certainty around the process. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding during this time.
We will be looking into UPS or shipping from our Amsterdam warehouse, if possible. To be the first to know when USA shipping reopens, we invite you to join our newsletter. ✨

What’s Happening?
Â
From August 29th, 2025, the U.S. will remove its $800 duty-free threshold on imported goods. This means that parcels arriving in the U.S. after this date may be subject to tariffs.
At this stage, current advice suggests that sellers (that’s us) may be required to pay these tariffs on behalf of customers. If this becomes the case, we’ll need to begin collecting tariff taxes at checkout. Please note, DreamyMoons does not keep any of this – all collected fees go directly to U.S. Customs/USPS.
In many countries, customs duties are collected directly from customers by the postal service. However, USPS does not appear to have the systems in place to manage this, and instead requires sellers to cover the fees or risk parcels being returned.
Our priority is always to make sure your orders arrive smoothly and without unnecessary costs. If tariffs begin being applied, we’ll take the necessary steps to adjust quickly and fairly, keeping you updated at every stage.

A Note From Us
Â
We know this is confusing and frustrating – it certainly isn’t how we’d like things to be. Please know that we’re doing everything we can to adapt to these changes as smoothly as possible.
We are deeply grateful for your patience, kindness, and support while we navigate this shift in international shipping. Hopefully, things become clearer soon, and we’ll keep you updated as we know more. 💌
